Iron Bull Kennel is a small, family owned kennel based out of the York, Pennsylvania area.  All breeding dogs are DNA tested and certified clear of Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis (NCL), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), and Ichthyosis.  NCL is a degenerative disease of the central nervous system and has no cure.  DM is also an inherited neurologic disease.  It causes muscle wasting, incoordination in the hind limbs, and eventually the inability to walk.  There is no cure for DM.  Ichthyosis, also called the "fish scale disease", causes dry and thickened, scaly skin.  With our dogs being DNA cleared of these hereditary diseases, there is zero chance that your new puppy will suffer from any of these ailments.

 

All puppies are raised in our home.  They are socialized with cats and our other dogs, as well as exposed to sounds such as vacuums, thunder, and loud vehicles.  We also utilize the ENS protocol.  ENS stands for early neurological stimulation.  ENS is believed to stimulate the puppy's neurological system early, which improves the growth and development of their immune system, cardiovascular system, and stress tolerance.  This makes for a more well rounded puppy. 

 

Our puppies will come with a vet check and one year health guarantee against genetic defects.  Puppies will also have their NKC and ABRA registrations as well as their first vaccines, a microchip, and be dewormed.  We also supply a puppy pack to help you get started with your new family member.  Items in our puppy pack include weekly pictures of your pup, health records, a blanket with mom's scent, and much more!
